Colson Kelly, a.k.a by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April of 1990. He was born into an German and English Scottish family. His parents, each missionaries took him on many trips during his early years. James Colson Baker battled depression and unemployment, and his mom Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Baker, his father, and their aunt moved to Denver to Denver. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. This Cleveland rapper, who delivers the lyrics with as much speed as bullets, saw a meteoric climb in late 2011, after he shifted to self-publishing mixtapes instead of being signed to reputable labels. The career of the rapper took off after that, with each of his releases making it to the top ten charts.
